An 82-year-old woman, Annabelle Williams, showed
two teen robbers that she is not one to be messed with when she shot
them dead while they were trying to rob her at her home.
The grandmother told the police that she was sleeping in her bed when she heard glass shattering in another bedroom.
Startled,
she grabbed her handgun and went to see what the trouble was. She was
surprised when she saw the young men armed with guns trying to get into her apartment and
she first released a warning shot into the air to scare them but
instead of beating a retreat, the young men fired back and she had to gun them down in self defence.
