he Mavin All Stars received a backlash for their performance at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2015 which held on March 7, 2015 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
The Mavins as they are popularly called performed
their smash hit track 'Dorobucci'. The performance fell short of people's expectations.
Their
performance was regarded as a flop as it was not exciting and
coordinated. Also, the Mavins preferred to mime with a playback CD
instead of performing live like most acts did during the award ceremony.
A lot of Nigerians took their displeasure to
social media. They wondered why a talented such such as the Mavins
decided not to perform live.
The talented bunch was also missing some of its stars. Dr. Sid and Tiwa Savage were conspicuously absent during the performance.
Tiwa Savage who is pregnant had a show in Uganda, while Dr. Sid is still in the UK attending film school.
