international airports.
Whether its 2am in the morning or 12 noon, international airports are constantly hopping with activities.
But while every airport gets it's fair share of traffic, some are certainly much more active than others.
From Atlanta, United States to Tokyo, Japan, these are the world's busiest airports.
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport: with 96 million passengers, Hartsfield-Jackson is the world's busiest airport.
- Beijing Capital International Airport: comes in at 2nd place with more than 86 million passengers last year.
- Heathrow Airport, London: holds the 3rd place for another year with 73 million passengers.
- Toyko's Haneda Airport: saw nearly 73 million passengers in the last year.
- Los Angeles International Airport: moved up from 6th position last year with 70 million passengers.
- Dubai International Airport: also moved up to 6th position last year from 7th with more than 70 million passengers.
- Chicago O'Hare International Airport: dropped 2 spots to and in number 7 this time with nearly 70 million passengers.
- Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris: remained in 8th position with nearly 64 million passengers.
- Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport: came in as 9th position with nearly 64 million passengers.
- Hong Kong International Airport: kept the 10th spot with 63 million passengers but however came in 1st position in total air-cargo traffic with 4.4 million metric tons.
