People in across Europe, Northern Africa, some parts of Asia and the Middle East all witnessed a partial solar eclipse and Bayern Munich stars were not left out.
The German Champions today abandoned training to watch the eclipse
all donning special pair of eclipse viewing glasses.
Bayern trio Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso and Juan Bernat took time out from training to gaze at the solar eclipse that happened on Friday.
Pepe Reina tweeted a photo of him and his teammate enjoying the rare event with the caption: "Come to Germany Pepe !! What a pair of "smileys" hahaha ... but beautiful eclipse !!!"
David Alaba, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Arjen Robben were all pictured enjoying the moment.
The Bundesliga leaders will be facing Porto in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.
